What is Electroluminescent technology?

Electroluminescent (EL) technology is an highly energy efficient light source used to make large and small scale animated advertising signage .

Lightweight and paper thin, Electroluminescent (EL) advertsing panels are completely scalable, adverts can animate on billboards and badges, bar signs and clothing. EL panels can be made any size or shape and can be produced to animate in a number of pre-determined sequences or remaining lit in a single static design. EL panels are completely safe and use much less power than other light sources.

Electroluminescent displays have many applications and can even react and animated in response to external factors such as movement and sound.

Wide range of applications

Practically any surface can accommodate illuminated, animated advertising without the need to first make adjustments or changes to the surface. A bag, cap or even a front door could potentially be a small scale advertising space. EL panels are very effective when used on clothing and bags as the wearer effectively 'broadcasts' your promotional message.


Energy Efficient

EL technology is based on the emission of light by a phosphorous layer which is exposed to an electric field. The Electroluminescent display boasts very low power consumption and is one of the most energy efficient lights to exist. It uses around 80% less electricity than other light sources while converting up to 85% of its energy to light.

Artwork can be illuminated and animated in many ways and pre-determined sequences; electroluminescent technology allows complex, hi-res designs to come alive and catch the eye of your target market whether it's indoor, outdoor, large scale or small.

 

Low maintenance, long lasting and low cost
