Winter wonderland bar event

Our client wanted to increase brand awareness and consumption of its leading Vodka brand in a pan-African campaign aimed at young, upwardly mobile professionals. They planned to organise a series of bar-based Winter Wonderland themed nights with competitions and giveaways held throughout the evening.

Anokimobi's brief was to design and produce:

  • simple lightweight and easy to use decorations with which to theme the bars.
  • low cost, high perceived value promotional giveaways.

Our response
Anokimobi began by researching and understanding the aspirations and motivations of the target audience in order to produce themed items to drive footfall to the bars and to produce branded products that would suit the event, be desirable, attractive and engaging for the participants.

Venue
Anokimobi began by designing winter themed decorations that would have an impact and be eye catching, such as large inflatable ice cubes, icicle bunting and snowflake confetti. Bandanas and sweat bands were to be worn by the bar staff so that they were suitably in-theme with this bar event.

Giveaways
The low-cost giveaways that Anokimobi designed incorporated both functionality to promote longevity and attractive design. Products included phone cleaner torches, flashing logo hand fans, lanyards and mobile phone cases, all of which allowed our client's brand to be highly visible for a much longer period than a one night event.

The results
The events were a huge success with a significant improvement in brand awareness and footfall through to these bars long after the events were held.
